MARU's Story
"Maru"- is a Korean word with deep cultural significance. Maru is the gathering place, a foundation and an elevated perspective.
Physically
In traditional Korean architecture, a "maru" is a raised wooden platform where people come together, it is the place in the home that connects different rooms.
Socially
Maru embodies the spirit of gathering, where people come together to share conversations, meals, and build stronger relationships and deeper understanding.
Culturally
Maru signifies harmony between people and nature, integrating physical spaces with the human experience, reinforcing the idea of balance, coexistence, and shared growth.
